About Me

As a licensed clinical psychologist in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, I am dedicated to providing evidence-based care to adolescents, emerging adults, and adults navigating a variety of challenges. My therapeutic approach focuses on creating a safe, compassionate, and culturally responsive environment where you can feel truly heard and supported. I tailor treatment to meet each person's unique needs, working together with you to foster meaningful, lasting change. I also collaborate with other professionals involved in your care and communicate with family members when you choose to include them in the process.

I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), two proven approaches that help individuals build practical coping skills, manage emotions, and develop healthier ways of thinking and acting. I also have advanced training in trauma-focused therapies and am certified in Prolonged Exposure Therapy, a specialized treatment for PTSD. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, suicidality, self-injury, and other emotional challenges. I also support clients navigating life transitions, relationship difficulties, and challenges with executive functioning. My goal is to help you overcome obstacles, develop new skills, and feel empowered to live your life more fully.

My Approach

I received my BA in Psychology from Marist College and earned my Master’s and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from La Salle University. My clinical training includes a pre-doctoral internship at UPenn Medicine Princeton House, where I provided DBT and trauma-informed care to individuals in intensive outpatient settings. Afterward, I completed my postdoctoral fellowship at Cognitive and Behavioral Consultants (CBC) in White Plains, New York. During this time, I continued to work closely with adolescents and adults while also stepping into leadership roles. As Director of Postgraduate Training, I supervised and mentored early-career clinicians and trainees, ensuring they received the support and guidance necessary to develop their own therapeutic practices.

I am passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the field and am an active member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT). Through continued learning and professional development, I strive to provide the best possible care to my clients.

Education and Experience

When I'm not working, you’ll find me spending time with my loved ones, fostering dogs in need, and staying active—often by running races and sometimes chasing after my two rescue pups!
