Before scheduling an appointment, we’ll have a brief 15-minute complimentary consultation to make sure I’m the right fit for your needs and to discuss what you’re hoping to achieve in therapy. This is also a great time for you to ask any questions. If we’re a good match, we can schedule an initial evaluation, where we’ll review your treatment history, current symptoms, strengths, relevant background, as well as discuss your treatment goals.
To schedule a brief complimentary consultation, please email me at leigh@drleighkwasny.com, call (201-614-7725) or fill out the contact me form.

I am an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance.
I provide clients with invoices after each session and monthly detailed superbills, which can be submitted to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement.
Please check with your insurance provider to understand your coverage and reimbursement options.

I kindly request at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling of appointments.
If you are unable to provide 24 hours' notice, the full session fee will be charged. However, if I have availability, I will do my best to offer an alternative time within the same week and apply the charge to that rescheduled session.
This policy helps me maintain availability for all clients and ensures we can make the most of our time together. Thank you for your understanding.
No Surprises Act
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
